Visit the Fixer to Fabulous Stores — Less Than an Hour Away
Jenny and Dave Marrs’ two Arkansas stores are an easy day trip from Eagles Landing — and Bentonville itself is worth the drive.
If you have ever watched Dave and Jenny Marrs transform a tired Arkansas house into something stunning on HGTV’s Fixer to Fabulous and thought “I want to live inside their design aesthetic” — good news. You can walk right into it. Two stores, less than an hour from Eagles Landing, and Jenny herself is often there.
Fixer to Fabulous debuted on HGTV in 2019 and has been running strong ever since — Season 7 wrapped production in early 2026, making it one of the network’s most enduring renovation series. The show follows Dave and Jenny Marrs as they restore and renovate vintage and historic homes in and around their adopted hometown of Bentonville, Arkansas. Dave handles the construction and woodworking. Jenny handles design, details, and the kind of intentional styling that makes people stop mid-episode and reach for a notebook.
What most people don’t realize is that Bentonville — the small town that anchors the show — has quietly become one of the most interesting cities in the entire South. World-class art museum, incredible dining, national mountain bike destination, and now two stores where you can shop Jenny Marrs’ actual design philosophy in person. It makes for a very full day.
The StoresTwo Locations, Two Different Experiences
Marrs On Main
Opened April 2025 on the Bentonville Square, Marrs On Main is the newer and more accessible of the two locations — steps from the town square, with access from Main Street and a pedestrian walkway on A Street. Jenny describes it as “a shop filled with pieces that create a sense of home, calm, and beauty.” Inside you will find handmade pottery, leather goods, original artwork, antiques collected from their travels around the world, one-of-a-kind furniture pieces, unique light fixtures, and handcrafted furniture designed by Jenny Marrs herself. The layout is styled like a series of vignettes — every corner is a room concept you can steal for your own home.
Marrs Mercantile
The original store, opened in March 2023 in nearby Centerton, is a few miles from Bentonville and has built a devoted following of fans who travel from across the country specifically to visit. Marrs Mercantile carries the same warm aesthetic — artisanal home goods, textiles, pottery, art prints, books, pantry items including Italian specialties Jenny brings back from her travels, jewelry, seasonal décor, and small-batch products from makers in Arkansas and beyond. Tripadvisor reviewers consistently mention the staff as a highlight — knowledgeable, genuinely enthusiastic, and full of local recommendations.
The HostAbout Jenny Marrs — and When You Might Meet Her
Jenny Marrs is an interior designer, renovation expert, author, blogger, and mother of five who — along with her husband Dave, a contractor and master woodworker — has been the face of Fixer to Fabulous since it debuted in 2019. Their show has now aired seven seasons, spawned a spinoff (Fixer to Fabulous: Italiano, which followed them to Tuscany to renovate a centuries-old villa), and drawn a national fanbase that travels to Bentonville specifically because of the show.
What viewers consistently say sets Jenny and Dave apart from other HGTV personalities is their genuine, unaffected quality. They are a real family running a real renovation business in a real Arkansas town — five kids, a farm full of animals, and an authentic faith that comes through in how they talk about their work and their community. When the production company approached them about doing a show, Dave admitted his concern was that they would portray their region as “backwoods.” Seven seasons later, they have done the opposite — Bentonville has become a destination partly because of what the show revealed about it.
Jenny is known to stop by both stores regularly — and sightings are common enough that fans plan their visits with the hope of running into her. There is no guarantee, but the staff at both locations are warm, well-informed, and excellent company regardless. As one Tripadvisor reviewer put it after visiting Marrs Mercantile: “These girls were wonderful with suggestions on products in the store — they told us about the blueberry farm being open that day and gave suggestions on other local places to visit. They were truly delightful.”

While You’re ThereBentonville Is Worth an Entire Day
Bentonville was named one of Travel + Leisure‘s 50 Best Places to Travel in 2026, and it is not hard to understand why once you are there. The city is walkable, genuinely interesting, and packed with things that have nothing to do with Walmart’s headquarters being located there. It is a real destination — and pairing the Marrs stores with even a few hours of exploring the rest of downtown makes for one of the best day trips available from Eagles Landing.
Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art
One of the finest art museums in America — free general admission, 120 acres of sculpture trails, a Frank Lloyd Wright house, and a glass-enclosed restaurant overlooking spring-fed ponds. June 2026 brought the museum’s largest expansion yet. A half day here feels exactly right.
Downtown Bentonville Square
The square at the center of downtown is walkable, charming, and lined with independent restaurants, boutiques, and coffee shops. Marrs On Main is steps away. The Farmers Market runs on Saturdays. Public art appears on sidewalks and alley walls throughout.
The Momentary
A repurposed cheese factory converted into a contemporary art and music venue. The 2026 lineup includes major acts across indie, electronic, and jazz. Excellent coffee bar and rotating visual art exhibitions. One of the most unexpectedly cool venues in the South.
The Bentonville Dining Scene
Eleven at Crystal Bridges for lunch. Crepes Paulette on the Square. Wright’s Barbecue north of downtown. Conifer for a farm-to-table dinner. The food scene in Bentonville punches far above what a city this size should be able to deliver.
World-Class Mountain Biking
Bentonville is officially the Mountain Bike Capital of the World — the Slaughter Pen and Coler Creek trail systems are nationally recognized. If anyone in the group rides, the trails here are a bucket-list destination in their own right.
The Walmart Museum
The original Walton’s 5 & 10 store on the Bentonville Square is now a free museum telling the story of one of the most consequential businesses in American history. Surprisingly engaging — and the holographic Sam Walton is genuinely impressive.
